Mojavian’s expertise is in collaborative innovation strategy. Put simply: working together while protecting one’s own interests. In collaborative tech innovation, it’s surprisingly hard to balance these things with respect to stakeholder interests. The proprietor has been researching and working in B2B roles within the UAS (drone), IT, and fintech industries for over five years; and has more broadly been an expert in collaboration, stakeholder management, and corporate messaging for over a decade.

Ever heard the phrase “convention is the mother of all innovation?” Nope, neither have we. :)

Mojavian is not a standard consulting firm. Mojavian’s expertise is more in the qualitative social science domain; the study of people, processes, and the organizations within which they interact. While many of the conventions of strategy consulting are at play (and indeed within the Mojavian toolbox), Mojavian’s proprietary approach is built atop state-of-the-art ethnographic research methods, with a unique specialization in process studies. The specific methodologies employed will differ with each engagement/work package, but Mojavian will be happy to detail the approach per client as part of the deal.

It depends on the age, speed, and lineage of the organization in question. But in short: having a cohesive strategic direction protects the organization from resource misdirection; tells a convincing story for stakeholders; and can (but not always) increase loyalty among ecosystem partners. The combination of these advantages means more efficient collaboration with better outcomes for each B2B dynamic as well as the end user.

This strongly depends on where Mojavian’s services are plugged into within the organization, and it’s therefore hard to answer this generally in a meaningful way. In past cases, Mojavian has assisted research divisions in unlocking public and private R&D funding; in other cases, Mojavian’s led the redevelopment of a client’s long-range strategic planning document; in still others, Mojavian has acted as an intermediary between ecosystem partners to develop incentives for central participation The answer to this question depends on how you, dear read, value successfully executed strategy.

Mojavian only deals in that which can be measured. One, three, and six months after our work is concluded, Mojavian will reach out to get a sense of where you’re at and how things are going.
